Edward Eng is an artist born and raised in California. His art specializes in ceramic sculptures to create compelling narratives about the relationship between humans and nature, with an emphasis on climate change and the impact that it has on biodiversity and the environment. His works are often inspired by surrealism as well as scientific research to create pieces that evoke a sense of familiarity while introducing topics that are often overlooked in the art world. He completed a BFA in Spatial Arts with an emphasis in ceramics at San José State University and currently lives in the bay area.
His artistic inspirations include Monica Van den Dool, Adrian Arleo, Courtney Mattison and René Magritte.
